How long have you been trading and how did you start?

I started trading as a hobby in 2019 and transitioned into Forex trading in 2022.

What qualities or habits do you think are essential for a trader?

Above all, a trader must act wisely and choose the right broker. Issues like low liquidity, high spreads, unnecessary commissions, and difficulties with deposits or withdrawals can seriously harm a trader's motivation, even if they are highly skilled. In my opinion, traders should not be greedy. They should be self-aware, goal-oriented, and disciplined enough to pause and recharge once a goal is reached. Good planning and guidance from experienced mentors can make a significant difference. There isn’t just one way to trade. It’s about knowing yourself and matching your style with your personality.

Describe your best trade so far: which instrument, strategy and profit did you make?

Rather than focusing on one trade, I'd like to share a process. Over a 41-day stretch, I experienced the biggest percentage growth of my trading career on EUR/USD, with a profit of over $35,000.

My strategy involves reading the instrument chart to form a bias, then entering the market in pieces, executing short trades in micro timeframes, and staying active in price action throughout the day.

What do you like most about Tickmill and why would you recommend us?
